1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information to operate and improve the App:

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account information: phone number (for OTP-based login), name, email address, and profile photo (if you sign in with Google)
• Shipping addresses: full name, address, city, state, postal code, and phone number for delivery
• Order information: products purchased, order history, order status, and cancellation reasons
• Wishlist and cart data: products you save or add to your cart

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version
• Usage data: screens viewed, products browsed, search queries, and interactions within the App
• Log data: IP address, access times, and crash/diagnostic reports

1.3 Information from Third Parties

• Google Sign-In: if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture as authorized by you
• Advertising identifiers: collected by our ad partners (see Section 4) to serve and measure ads

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To process, fulfill, and deliver your orders
• To communicate order updates, offers, and support responses
• To personalize product recommendations and search results
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues
• To display advertisements and measure their performance
• To improve the App's features, performance, and user experience

3. Cash on Delivery (COD) Payments

Velora currently supports Cash on Delivery as the payment method. We do not collect or store any card, UPI, or bank account details through the App for COD orders.

4. Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, native, and rewarded advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect and use data — including your advertising ID — to show relevant ads and measure ad performance, in accordance with Google's Partner Policy.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device's ad settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization).

5. Third-Party Services

Velora uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the App (hosting, delivery coordination, customer support)
• Advertising partners (Google AdMob) as described above
• Law enforcement or regulators where required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public
• Business transfers, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and order data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 10).

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

Velora is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Your Rights and Choices

• Access & update: You can view and edit your profile and saved addresses within the App
• Delete your account: You may request account and data deletion by contacting us at the email below
• Opt out of ads personalization: via your device's ad settings
• Notifications: You can disable push notifications in your device settings

11. Permissions Used by the App

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
